Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira — a prodigy who can clear his mind to a blank, lethal calm — and his blade carries that same understated edge. This handmade Tokito Muichiro katana reproduces the legendary sword as a genuine collector’s item for the fan who wants the real thing on the rack.
Forging & Steel
The 72 cm blade is forged from 1060 carbon steel, a high-carbon alloy chosen for the balance of edge retention and impact resilience that makes a working anime katana. It is hand-polished to reveal the steel and mounted on a full-tang core, so the whole sword behaves as one solid piece. Two bamboo mekugi pin the tang for full disassembly.
Mounts & Fittings
Carved iron tsuba and menuki seat the balance toward the hand, the synthetic-shagreen wrap holds a secure grip, and the lightweight lacquered wood saya keeps the draw fast and the presentation clean.
Care & Maintenance
A high-carbon blade like this rewards a little upkeep. Because 1060 steel is reactive, wipe the blade down after every handling session and lay on a thin film of light mineral or camellia oil before it slides back into the saya, which stops surface rust from ever taking hold. Knock out the two bamboo mekugi when you want to strip the sword for a deeper clean, and store it edge-up on a stand so the lacquered scabbard never bears the weight of the blade. Treated this way, it stays keen, bright and display-ready for years.

Good quality and cuts well.
Love the sword so much, thank you.
Been okay so far, in the middle of buying one.
Excellent, the only flaw is that the inside of the drum is a bit sticky.
Beautiful katana.
