Inspired by the world of Ghost of Tsushima, this two-piece set brings the look of Jin Sakai’s blades into real, functional steel — a full-size katana and a matching tanto that read as a pair on the stand and answer as a pair in the hand. It is built to serve as both a collector’s centrepiece and a working martial-arts training set.
Forging & Steel
Both blades are forged from T10 high-carbon steel and differentially hardened to raise a true hamon temper line — hard, keen edge up front, resilient spine behind it. Each blade carries a bo-hi, the fuller groove that lightens it, quickens the balance and gives that low singing draw from the saya. The katana is sized for two-handed cutting; the shorter tanto follows the same construction, balanced for one-handed handling and close work. As a daisho-style pairing the two blades complement each other on the stand and in training alike.
The mounts match across the set. A sculpted zinc-alloy tsuba guards the hand, the lightweight lacquered and painted saya protects each blade, and the genuine stingray tsuka is dressed with bamboo-shaped copper menuki over two bamboo mekugi pinning a full tang.
